Reports released in 2010 from industry analysts predict that by 2020, the Indian aviation sector will be carrying some 260 million passengers around the world every year and the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA) in conjunction with SITA (a French airline communications company) have forecast that the entire Indian aviation sector is looking at transporting 160-180 million domestic passengers and 80 million international passengers per annum in 2020.
This means more jobs in the aviation sector, travel agency sector, consolidator sector and in fact, more infrastructure, more hotels etc…. the sky’s the limit!
